We’re hosting a meetup – April 21

We are so excited to be teaming up with ASDE to promote Self-Directed Education in our area! Join us at our upcoming Alliance for Self-Directed Education (ASDE) – Sacramento Area Meet Up. Meet new friends and have fun chatting and connecting with each other!

This Meet Up might be perfect for you if:
– Your child or teen is failing to thrive in their learning environment and you want to learn about a potential solution to help them love learning.
– You are interested in learning more about Self-Directed Education (SDE) for any reason.
– You want to connect with other SDE enthusiasts, and long-time SDE advocates. We hope you’ll join us.

This Meet Up is intended to be a collaborative network in the Sacramento area. We want this group to be a safe place to support each other, connect, and collaborate our efforts to promote and provide greater awareness and access to Self-Directed Education for more kids and their families.

SDE can include topics such as, unschooling, free schooling, child led learning, whole life learning, interest led learning, natural learning, hack schooling, world schooling, road schooling, outdoor learning, democratic schools, Sudbury schools, Agile Learning Centers, forest schools, Liberated Learning Centers, Big Picture Learning, and more.

Who: This meet up is for kids, parents, teachers, administrators, policy makers, enthusiasts, and more.
What: Learn about SDE, meet new friends, have fun chatting, connecting, and collaborating with each other! This is a free event.
When: Saturday, April 21st, 11am-1:30pm
